Is indoor parking available?
Indoor parking spaces are individually owned and become available for rent or purchase from time-to-time. If you are considering purchasing a unit, ask the owner if a garage space is included in the purchase.
Can I paint my condo?
Yes you may paint the inside walls to your unit. If you will be hiring a contractor, the contractor will need to be licensed and insured and need to check in with the front desk with those papers. This excludes the balcony. Balconies are limited common elements and as such, are the responsibility of the Association. Please refer to "Balconies" under the Rules and Regulations for additional Governing Documents information.
What do the HOA fees include?
HOA fees include electricity, water, insurance, trash, amenities (pool, gym, billiards, library), and upkeep of common elements. Reference Section 23. Determination and Payment of Assessments of the Condominium Declarations.
What to do with old furniture, electronics, bedding?
Things age, stop working, and are no longer needed/wanted. What can I do to get rid of these items? Well, what you CAN'T do is dump them in the common areas (trash rooms, loading dock, hallways, ETC.) throughout the Building or the dumpsters located outside the center garage or store them on balconies. What you can do is haul the items away yourself or contract with an outside vendor to haul the items away, generally at a cost. The HOA is not responsible for hauling/disposing of these items. As an example, search the internet for "Colorado Springs bedding disposal", which turns up https://mattressdisposalplus.com among others.
